Algodonera Avellaneda S.A. is today the number one participant in the national cotton gin industry and one of the main exporters of cotton fiber.

The prestige acquired by the company is based on its six cotton gin plants spread in the Argentine provinces of Santa Fe, Chaco, Santiago del Estero and Formosa, which gin 3,250 tons per day, distributed as follows:

Avellaneda (Santa Fe): 550 tn./day

Villa Angela (Chaco) 400 tn./day

General Pinedo (Chaco) / Sir Cotton 700 tn/day

General Pinedo (Chaco) / Gin Cotton 400 tn/day

El Colorado (Formosa) 200 tn/day

Bandera (Santiago del Estero) 1000 tn/day
