Cotton Mill
The cotton mill is situated in the industrial site of Reconquista
(Santa Fe). This plant was first thought as an investment carried
out by Algodonera Avellaneda at the beginning of the year 2000. At
present, this industrial plant is placed among the three most
important ones in Argentina.
With this acquisition, the company managed to integrate vertically
all the processes involved in the production of cotton: storage,
gin, marketing of fiber and spinning and weaving.
The highest levels of technology applied to conventional and open
end spinning were employed when designing this plant of 22,500 m2,
where there are more than 350 people working.
All these advantages, in addition to the service, quality and cost
of its products, place this company in a privileged position in the
domestic and world market.
Algodonera Avellaneda has its own commercial office and 5000
m2
warehouse in Buenos Aires, which offers an immediate and efficient
assistance to local and international clients. From these offices
Vicentin effects all exports, which are sent through the Buenos
Aires port.
Productive processes:
cotton mill, mixtures and twisting. Stitch weaving.
Final products: cotton spinning 100 % combed
and
card and open end; 100% viscose, polyester and
cotton.
Stitch weaving: jersey, rib morley, interlock,
piquι,
frisa, cotton 100%, mixtures, stretching cloths, plush.
