Ricardone Plant

Due to an excellent geographical position – very close to the motorway which joins the city of Santa Fe with Rosario – this plant has an unmatched advantage: the easy access of the raw material for its subsequent grinding.

The plant has the most modern infrastructure which allows operating with soybean, cotton and sunflower seeds.

During 1999 the oil solvent extraction plant was renewed, therefore the company achieved the highest international technology standards applied in the field.

The vegetable oil manufactured in this plant is transported to the shipping terminal, on the Parana river, where it is loaded through an oil pipeline which is 4,500 meters long, with a capacity of transference of 160 tons per hour.

The policy of preservation of the environment has been proved with the construction of a system of lagoons for the treatment of effluents from the industrial plant.

There is, in addition, a laboratory equipped with the highest technology and a knowledgeable personnel widely trained in the analysis of the raw materials and the monitoring of the different stages which are involved in the production processes.
